Laurie Wiens, B.M.R.-P.T., C.A.F.C.I.
Saskatoon Physical Therapist Laurie Wiens, has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 25 years in Saskatchewan.
She is passionate about her work and wants to help you get back to the things you love to do. Pain and loss of mobility can have a huge impact on your life, and can lead to other health problems.
Laurie believes in the importance of listening to your concerns with respect, and working together with you to meet your treatment goals – whether your goals are getting back to your favourite leisure activities, getting back to work, or even living without pain and dysfunction.
This will start with a full individualized assessment to help determine the cause of your pain, and will look at your signs and symptoms, medical history and lifestyle. Treatments may include a combination of hands-on therapy, acupuncture, GTT – a form of dry needling, ultrasound, K-tape, individualized exercise programs and education.
Combining the practices of Eastern and Western Medicine, Laurie uses her Acupuncture training along with other Physical Therapy techniques to treat a variety of conditions, in order to assist clients to reach their goals for recovery. Laurie strives to provide a high standard of care that is both compassionate and client-focused.
